PARENT INFO NIGHT
All parents are expected to attend this information session on Thursday September 19 at 6:00 pm in the Eastlink Centre On-Deck Classroom (near where the girls meet to warm up and stretch). Details about the season, a club contact list, calendar of events, club T-shirt sizes and more will be provided at this important meeting. There will also be opportunities for parents to become involved. Your participation is essential to the success of Grande Prairie Synquatics Club!!!
Anyone wishing to try synchronized swimming may do so for the first two Intro sessions in September (14thth and 21st). Registration will need to be completed and fees submitted for the program of choice. However, all fees (minus the $25.00 registration fee) will be returned should your swimmer choose not to continue in the program once the trial period is over. If your swimmer does choose to continue, registration fees will be deposited immediately.
TEAM BONDING EVENTS
There are two exciting Team Bonding Events planned for this season. This is an opportunity for all swimmers in the club and their coaches to come together and have fun while getting to know each other outside the pool. Friendships are made here that last a lifetime - watch for details!
Our annual Mock Meet is scheduled for March 14th at the Eastlink Centre and will include all swimmers. It is an excellent opportunity for the girls to interact with other Synchro clubs in the region and for our non-competitive swimmers to get an idea of what a competition is all about.
TEAM CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
Synchronized swimming is a team sport and the GP Synquatics Club has required team clothing. Dressing uniformly instills a sense of unity and pride amongst the swimmers at both the recreational and competitive levels. When swimmers participate in club activities inside and outside of the pool, they represent the Grande Prairie Synquatics Club in all they do. We want the public to be able to identify the girls in their activities to help promote and applaud them.
A variety of clothing with our logo will also be available for you to purchase at the beginning of the season. The link will be posted on our website and Facebook pages.
