Jordyn is a Certified Artistic Swimming Coach at the Competition Introduction level through the National Coaching Certification Program. She is one of our current Competitive coaches and our Head Coach. Jordyn has been involved with the Grande Prairie Synquatics Club since 2008 as a Recreational and Competitive Swimmer for five and a half years. Jordyn is also a CSEP certified Personal Trainer and has a diploma in Personal Training from GPRC. She hopes to encourage kids to live an active lifestyle from a young age and help them achieve their Artistic Swimming goals.
Rochelle used to swim in her teenage years and is currently swimming with our Masters team. She is an AquaGo trained coach and has her Competition Introduction level Certification through NCCP. She enjoys watching how the swimmers can progress with their Artistic Swimming skills, use their creativity and work as a team.
Megan has been involved with the Grande Prairie Synquatics Club since she was 9 years old and has swam with the club in various levels such as Recreational, Competitive, and Masters for about 10-11 years. She started coaching with the club when she was 18 years old and has coached various levels of Artistic Swimming for about 14 years. Artistic Swimming is one of her greatest passions. She loves watching young swimmers learn and grow to love the sport of Artistic Swimming.
Cassandra (AKA Cassie, The Mermaid Coach, or Mermaid Cassie) has been involved with the Grande Prairie Synquatics Club since 2001 as a recreational swimmer, competitive swimmer, coach, judge, Masters swimmer and most recently a Mermaid! She was away for a few years while she attended University in Edmonton and swam one year with the UofA Masters Club. When she returned to coach again she started up the Grande Prairie Synquatics Mermaids Program, as well as coaching all the different levels at some point throughout the years. Cassie is a Certified Artistic Swimming Coach at the Competition Introduction level through NCCP, and a Trained AquaGo! Instructor. She has a little family consisting of her hubby, son, and daughter. For Cassie it has always been a pleasure to grow and learn with the Club. She hopes we continue to run amazing programs and bring something different as a sport to the community
