Youth Mermaids
This program is for any swimmer who would like to gain experience with a mermaid monofin while learning mermaid swimming safety and having fun. This is open to swimmers age 7+ who have completed Red Cross Swim Level 5, or are able to swim unassisted 50m in the pool and are comfortable in deep water. Swimmers will perform a mermaid routine for the Winter Water Show to show off what they have learned. A Mermaid Swim Test must be passed in order to join the program; this will typically be held on the first day of class. Please submit registration prior to the first class so that your swimmer is registered for the Swim Test.
NOTE: A minimum of 3 participants is necessary to run the program.
Fins will be provided if needed.
